Lincoln Property Company, the nation's second largest multi-family manager, will be hosting its annual Communities for the Cure on October 16, 2015

In an effort to raise awareness for breast cancer, over 400 of Lincoln's apartment communities will encourage their staff to "Believe in Pink", sporting pink attire in the office and on site, and subsequently spreading awareness on social media outlets.

This will be Lincoln's 5th annual Communities for the Cure, honoring those who are currently battling Breast Cancer and supporting those who have beat the illness. Lauren Gummelt, Lincoln's National Marketing Manager and Director of Lincoln Charities, stated, "Our goal for Communities for the Cure day is to bring awareness to the disease that has touched the lives of so many, to support those who are fighting, and to remember those we have lost." October has been named Breast Cancer Awareness month and is sponsored by the American Cancer Society. To see Lincoln employees showing their support, search for the hashtag #cancercrusaders on social media channels on October 16.
